One of the most beautiful beaches
Located in a wonderful bay between Capo Malfatano and Capo Spartivento, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, known for its fine white sand and for its crystal clear waters which remind of a typical Caribbean landscape. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, where mastic and juniper reign, it overlooks the islet of the same name, only a few hundred metres from the shore. The North-east wind dominates in the islet of Tuerredda where you can spend a few hours, lying on the sand or on the warm and smooth rocks. Covered in the typical perfumed coastal scrub, it is a world of itself. Great to be explored even in its inland with its realm of seagulls and various other birds. The constant and balanced water temperature makes it ideal for snorkelling and long swims. Here you can enjoy an incredibly clear seabed, which slopes gently and reaches a depth of only a few meters near the islet.
The coast has both soft and harsh stretches, like a succession of small beaches separated by suggestive rocks, among the blue of the sea and the green of the flora.
Spring and autumn are the most beautiful months to immerse yourself in this paradise.
