S’Ortixeddu Beach, also called The Americans’ Beach, is just five minutes away from the harbour.
Sheltered from the winds, the beach is set in a long bay with soft fine-grained white sand and the presence of a few small scattered rocks. Shallow and sandy seabed in its amazing crystal clear waters. An iridescent colour among the various shades of turquoise, blue and emerald green, characterises this one as well as most of the beaches in the area.
